The Compass Program
Pointing in the direction to independent living.
Newer Beginnings provides supportive services to individuals in their own home setting. We offer individual centered services which support one’s ability to maintain their independence in a community setting. Our highly trained staff are available to assist with the following services:
- Activities of daily living (ADLs) which includes: grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.
- Instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) which includes: meal prep, managing medication, grocery shopping, person need shopping, money management, housekeeping and apartment upkeep, etc.
- Social skills.
- Coordinating and/or transportation to medical and other appointments.
- Processing information.
- Better decision making.
We are capable of having several staff or one staff working with an individual. We have clients who need to be seen daily, 4 times per day, as well as services ranging from 15 minute to 8 hours per day. Some receive services for a 3 hour outing to go bowling to one time per month. Others require assistance daily. Whatever your need, we are confident our staff can be there for you.
