CURRENT OPEN POSITIONS

**As of Wednesday April 9th, 2025: Newer Beginnings LLC is currently hiring for the following programs:

*Adult Day Services*: Hiring for Assistant Instructors:

Hours are between 8-3pm. Can be flexible to start at 830am and work to 230pm, if need be. Tuesday through Friday.

Staff will work on our main floor assisting with all of our participants. Participants at the program are developmentally disabled. Many of the are high functioning and can communicate their needs and wants. Others are in need or more assistance, such with toileting, feeding, etc. All of our participants need supervision to ensure that they are making good decisions and are safe.

In addition, staff will assist with playing board games, arts and craft, karaoke, community outing, etc. Many participants enjoy going to the YMCA, out to eat, the park, etc. Some of these outings arent taking place until Covid restrictions are lifted.

The schedule typically will be Tuesday-Friday, 830-230pm or even 8-3pm. We can discuss what works best for everyone.

If you are a responsible, dependable, patient, caring individual, you will enjoy working at our Day Services, helping to enrich individual’s life.

Must have a clean driving record. A drug test and background check is required pre-employment.

*Home Support Program*: The Compass Program. Hiring for Caregivers and Assistant Managers.

Current hours open and available are primarily in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls, & Plymouth. Additionally, we have available hours available in Ozaukee County and Adell. 

Staff will assist with supervision, medication reminders, community outings, meal prep, apartment upkeep, laundry, and personal cares, etc.

Newer Beginnings, LLC is hiring first shift Monday – Friday. Full and Part Time hours are available.

Typically, the hours are available between 8-4pm. But we are hiring for early mornings, as well as late afternoon, early evening hrs too.

*Specifically, we are hiring for some of the following Home Support opportunities:

  1. Mon-Fri, hrs are available for members is in need of services in Sheboygan.  Anywhere from 10-40 hrs a week.
  2. 20-40 hrs are available in the Saukville/Grafton Area. 
  3. 10-30 hrs available in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.

*More information can certainly be provided regarding all of these specific opportunities.

In addition, Saturday & Sunday hours are available. Staff can work anywhere between 2-10 hrs. Whatever your availability is.

Part time hours are available on the weekends too, only if desired.

Caregivers: Competitive Wage. *Based on Experience and Availability* 

 

*Adult Family Home*: “The Washington House”

Located in Sheboygan. Staff needed for a LIVE IN POSITION at an Adult Family Home. The home has 4 beds and residents who are developmentally disabled/mentally ill.

The position is a LIVE IN POSITION where staff has their own bedroom and will work 3 days, every other week, Fri, Sat, Sun. **Or the staff will work every other week, Mon-Thurs. ** Whatever shift works for you.

There is time throughout the 3 days for the staff to watch TV, go for a walk, go out for lunch, relax around the house, etc. Staff does have some down time. However, all responsibilities have to be taken care of first of course.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Transportation of clients to and from programming, medical appointments, outings, medication administration, meal preparation, house cleaning, money budgeting, client hygiene, supervision, activities, etc.

Staff will need to be able to communicate professionally and thoroughly with case managers, doctors, programming, guardians, etc.

Staff will provide leisure activities for the clients and be asked to follow state code for group home regulations. Additionally, residents have ISP to be followed and assistance with meeting their goals, while understanding their barriers. The director will help/assist with such regulations and responsibilities as well.

This is a wonderful work environment and opportunity for responsible, dependable, detailed oriented individuals. Previous staff have very much enjoyed the clients, schedule, and making a difference. The current manager and staff have worked at the Washington House for several years now.

Valid drivers license is required, and a background check will be done on all potential candidates.

Wage: *Based on Experience* Sign on bonus of $300.00 after 6 months of employment.
